Search terms
A name, place, or other term entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. For the local records described here, official references include Iredell P2C, the Detention Center, and Sheriff public information. Iredell County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those query terms on its own systems through the widget.
Messages
An email or contact-form message is retained as needed to read it and respond. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to handle the message.
Technical Data and Cookies
When a page loads, ordinary technical details may be recorded by hosting, analytics, advertising, or security services.
- IP address or a similar network identifier
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on each
- Referring page, when available
- Request timestamps
Cookies
Cookies may help understand how visitors use the pages and support features. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some functions may act differently when cookies are disabled.
How Information Is Used

The information is not used to create an official Iredell County jail or court record.

The pages link to P2C, the Iredell Sheriff's Office, police departments, courts, NCDAC, federal locators, news outlets, and other search tools. Once a link is followed, the destination's privacy terms control. Iredell County Busted Mugshots does not control the data practices, uptime, or content of those services.
Some advertising partners may observe activity across different websites for targeted advertising. That tracking occurs on their systems and is governed by their notices.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold by this reference. It may be available to the following service groups when needed for the functions above:
- Search partners that process widget queries
- Analytics providers measuring page use
- Advertising networks serving or measuring ads
- Law enforcement or another government body when a valid legal order requires disclosure
Security Practices
Reasonable standard safeguards are used, but no internet-connected service can promise perfect security. Sending information online always carries some risk, and no breach-proof guarantee is made.
Visitors Under 18
These pages are intended for adults. The service does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent data, a parent or guardian may request its deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the information and applicable law, a person may ask about:
- A copy of data held about that person
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of information that can lawfully be erased

Requests can be sent through the Contacts page. A request to an outside search or advertising provider must be sent to that provider.

This Notice may be revised as the service, tools, or legal requirements change. An updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised practices apply.
